The stockpile tool

You know what you bought. This tells you how long it lasts, what runs out first, and the cheapest way to fix it. Built for people who take this seriously.

How it thinks

  • Your household first. Each person by age and activity: calories, protein, fat and water per day. Pets too.
  • Calories, not servings. Food is counted from the label, per pack, so a "30-day kit" shows what it really is.
  • One weakest link. Food, water, medicine, power and any supply you cannot do without, in days. The shortest one is your number.
  • The cheapest fix. For every gap it names what to buy from your own shelves and what it costs.

A real warehouse

  • Locations as site, room, shelf and bin. Every lot has a place, a best-before date and a price.
  • Receive, use, move and count. It picks opened packs first, then the earliest date, and tells you which shelf.
  • Minimum levels, a buy-again list, and what to use up in the next 90 days.
  • Kilograms and litres, or pounds, ounces and US gallons.

Paper and money

  • Print a binder, shelf labels and a contents list for your insurer.
  • What you paid, what it costs to replace, and the cost per 1,000 kcal.
  • A drill log: what you tested, what failed, what is fixed.

Built for the day the network is gone

  • No cloud. No account. No AI. The tool makes no network calls.
  • Your data stays on your device. Backups are files you keep, and you can lock them with a passphrase.
