Terms
Plain rules for a plain site.
What this site is
- Prep Wiki gives general information about preparing for emergencies. It is free to read.
- It is not medical, legal, financial, electrical or building advice, and it does not replace a professional who knows your situation.
- Rules on storing fuel, collecting rainwater, radio use, keeping animals and building differ between countries. Check what applies where you live.
In an emergency
- Call your local emergency number and follow the instructions of the authorities. Their instructions come before anything written here.
Dealers
- When you ask for a quote, we pass your request to an independent dealer. Any purchase is a contract between you and that dealer.
- Prep Wiki may earn a commission from the dealer.
Jokes
- Text in the Nonsense corner is humour and must not be acted on.
Accuracy
- We work to keep the content correct and up to date, and we fix mistakes when we learn of them. You use the information at your own judgement.
- Nothing in these terms takes away rights that the law of your country gives you.
Who we are
