The go bag
For the day the right answer is to leave, fast.
The idea
- One bag per person, by the door, light enough to carry for an hour.
- It gets you through 24 to 72 hours somewhere else.
What goes in
- Water and snacks.
- Copies of documents, cash, spare keys.
- Medicine, basic first aid, glasses.
- Torch, power bank, cables.
- Warm layer, waterproof, sturdy shoes nearby.
- Toothbrush, wipes, tissues.
Keep it honest
- Check it twice a year. Children grow, medicine expires.
- Do not pack it so heavy that you leave it behind.
